Louise Taylor
Louise has worked within a wide range of areas including community engagement, work with young people, arts and health, cultural exchanges, CPD provision, and event management for a variety of organisations including The Sage Gateshead, Sing Up!, Sangini and Music in the Minster.
Louise is also a practising musician with an MMus in Ethnomusicology from the School of Oriental African Studies, and a specialism in Klezmer music, traditional instrumental music of Ashkenazi Eastern European Jews. She teachers violin and viola, leads instrumental workshops in Klezmer and is a member of the 7-piece alternative pop band ‘Sharks Took The Rest’ who perform across the country, including the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury 2011.
